The Prospect Volunteer Fire Department is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization proudly serving the residents of Prospect Borough and Franklin Township, located in beautiful Butler County, Pennsylvania. For generations, our department has stood as a symbol of safety, service, and sacrifice—ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

Entirely staffed by highly trained and committed volunteers, we provide a full range of emergency services including fire suppression, vehicle and technical rescue, and emergency medical response. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—rain or shine, holiday or weekend—because emergencies don’t wait, and neither do we.

But we can’t do it alone.
